You won’t want to miss the 2015 Kids Count 5K!, a competitive road race to benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County, a 501 c 3 non-profit agency.  All proceeds will be used to provide services for abused children at the center.  Website:

Date: October 31, 2015

Location: 697 Melton Lake Drive, Oak Ridge, TN 37831.  This course starts and ends on the far south end of the marina peninsula.  Link to Map:

Time: Race starts at 8AM.  Plan to be there earlier to pick up your packet, or if registering that day.  Onsite registration will start at 7AM and close at 7:45 AM. Packets and registration at the pavilion.

Online registration:     Preregistration is encouraged.   Remember, T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrants after October 23, 2015.

Fees: $20 adults/$12 children & youth up to age 18 if registered by October 23, 2015.   $25 adults/$15 children & youth to age 18 if registered October 24, 2015 -through October 31, 2015.  Race T-shirts not guaranteed after October 23, 2015.

Post-Race:  Join us at the marina pavilion!  Snacks will be available for participants.  Music to enjoy and relax…and awards will be presented at 9:30am.

Awards: Male and female top three overall; 1st masters (40+); 1st Grandmasters (50+); and three deep age divisions 9 and under; 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+.
