The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County is a group of caring, compassionate people who are dedicated to keep our children safe from harm.

Known as a “Safe Place” for children, the Child Advocacy Center is a 501 c 3 non-profit charitable organization.

Child abuse investigations can be scary for a child. Knowing that, we serve as a safe place where children feel welcome and at ease to tell their story, receive medical treatment if needed and to begin the healing process.  That is what the Child Advocacy Center model is all about!

Protecting children and prosecuting offenders involves many professionals. Our Child Advocacy Center serves as a place where members of the Child Protective Investigative Team (CPIT) can work together to investigate suspected child abuse. We hope to reduce the number of times the child must relive the abuse.  This is less traumatic, and is focused on the best interest of the child, the goal of the Child Advocacy Center model.
