Volunteer Needs

The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County runs on a shoestring budget. We welcomes volunteers with a passion for helping abused children. If you can help out in any way, we can always use a hand!

Volunteer services may take many forms. Currently, we are looking for volunteers who want to:

  • sponsor events, or put their skills to a good use helping with our  fundraisers!
  • help with PR.
  • assist with building & lot maintenance.

Contact the Director at (865) 463-2740, or email cacactinc@comcast.net to find out how you can volunteer.

Event/Fundraising Volunteer

Join or assist our event/fundraising committee to raise awareness and funds needed to provide services for the children.

Currently we are looking for volunteers to assist with our 2024 Candidate Event, still in the planning process.  Volunteers will be needed as we prepare for the event and at the event in a variety of capacities.

  • The next 5K  Love Run (in planning stages for 2025) will have lots of volunteer needs!
  • Group/Corporate Volunteer Opportunities – We enjoy having groups join us for a day/part day to work on a project at the Child Advocacy Center .  Perfect opportunity for Scout troops, school community service, corporate or church groups. Organized groups do not need to attend Volunteer Training nor be 18 years of age.
  • We also need a crew of volunteers to replace the playground fencing.  (We provide materials)

Simply contact the Executive Director at (865) 463-2740 or email cacactinc@comcast.net to discuss possible group volunteer projects.
