2025 Gratitude Gala!

The Child Advocacy Center Board and Staff gathered with community members at the Museum of Laplacian on November 6, 2025 for a fun evening with speakers, food, music and both a live and silent auction.  Sheriff Russell Barker was an enthusiastic MC, with featured speakers, Judge Emily Abbott, and Representative Rick Scarbrough.  Birdwell Catering provided the delicious meal, while the Mighty House Band entertained.  The silent auction had many bidders on a great selection of donated baskets and items.  Honorary Board Member Dr. Fran Pisano presented an award to Executive Director Mrgaret Durgin who is retiring from her FT position 12/31/2025.  The evening wrapped up with a live auction by Zach Farrar with two African Safari trips sold!    Woven throughout the evening was the importance of partnership and community support to assure the provision of services for the children, helping them heal and recover.
