The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County Tennessee will host a 2026 “Hand in Hand” forum for political candidates to talk about what they plan to do for children if elected to office. The event will be held at Roane State College in Oak Ridge, TN.
Each candidate will be allowed to speak for three minutes and are asked to bring a dessert (homemade or store-bought) to be auctioned off. Funds raised will benefit the Child Advocacy Center and the children who receive services there.
The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County Tennessee Inc. is a nonprofit chartered by the state of Tennessee to serve child abuse victims in Anderson County. The Center works to strengthen families and bring healing and justice for children who have experienced abuse.The community is invited to attend to become informed about each candidate.
